Contractors pulled 27 permits to build single-family homes in unincorporated Lee County in September, up from 23 in September 2010 but down from August’s 37, according to statistics released today by the county Department of Community Development.
In a separate report, Cape Coral city officials said builders pulled 25 permits for single-family homes in September — down from 28 in August but up from 17 in September 2010, city officials said today.
No permits were pulled in Sanibel and the number wasn’t available this morning for Fort Myers, Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel, all of which have their own separate permitting operations.
