Grandezza – TOWN HALL MEETING MAY 11, 2010 AT 6 PM.

The next Town Hall Meeting will be held at the Grandezza Clubhouse on Tuesday, May 11 at 6 p.m.   This is a great opportunity to meet fellow property owners, ask questions, and learn more about future plans and issues in our community.   Please mark your calendars and plan to join us.

LANDSCAPING UPDATE

Over 800 new plants were recently installed along the Corkscrew berm in Savona and replacement sod is planned in May.  Sunshine and lots of rain are helping our plantings recover from the winter frost.   Watch for the new summer annuals in mid May.  

Your board will continue to address landscaping issues and plant replacements are funds become available.

SAFETY COMMITTEE REPORT

New gates have been installed at the maintenance entrance and across the cart path at the end of Hole Number 2 for the purpose of discouraging unauthorized access. Golf Superintendent Rocky Ford and Club Manger Charlie Howlin were instrumental in the acquisition and installation of these gates. 

The South and Savona Gates have been painted and new caution tape applied to gate arms at all three entrances. Bougainvillea will be planted at the south gate in May to improve appearance and to deter unauthorized access.
